Who we are
webdigitaltools is based at Olgy Havlové 2899/17, 130 00 Praha 3, Czechia. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at support@webdigitaltools.com or +420 602 321 056 for anything relating to your data.
What personal data we collect
- When you place an order: your name, email address, billing address, and — if you provide it — your company name and VAT ID. Payment card details are entered directly into the checkout form but are never transmitted to us or stored on our systems (see "Payment data" below).
- When you use the enquiry form: your name, email address, and optionally your company name and phone number, plus whatever you write in the message field.
- When you browse the site: standard technical data your browser sends to any web server (IP address, browser type, pages requested) as part of normal server operation, and — only if you consent — analytics data via Google Analytics 4, described below.
Payment data
This site's checkout runs in a demo/mock configuration: no payment is actually processed, and no card number, expiry date or security code is transmitted to us, stored by us, or held in your browser's local storage beyond the current session. Before this site processes real payments, this section will be updated to name the live payment provider and its own privacy terms.
Why we process this data (legal basis)
- Order and enquiry data: to perform the contract with you (fulfil an order, respond to an enquiry) — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Invoicing and accounting records: to comply with our legal obligations as a business — Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
- Website analytics: only with your consent, given through the cookie-consent banner — Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw this consent at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only where necessary to run the site and fulfil orders: our hosting provider, our email-delivery provider (to send order confirmations and, where applicable, downloads), and — only after you consent — Google Analytics 4 for aggregate site-usage statistics. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
International transfers
Where analytics consent is given, Google Analytics 4 may process data on servers outside the EU/EEA. Google processes this data under its own data-processing terms, which incorporate Standard Contractual Clauses as the transfer safeguard. Analytics data collection does not start until you actively consent.
How long we keep it
Order and invoicing records are kept for the period required by Czech tax and accounting law. Enquiry-form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle the enquiry, and are deleted when no longer needed. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics 4's configured retention window and is only collected at all if you've consented.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict or object to processing; request data portability; and withdraw consent at any time (which doesn't affect processing carried out before the withdrawal). To exercise any of these rights, email support@webdigitaltools.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), the supervisory authority for the Czech Republic, or with the supervisory authority in your own EU member state.
Cookies
This site uses cookies. Essential cookies (needed to run the cart and checkout) are always on. Non-essential cookies (analytics) load only after you grant consent through the banner or the "Cookie settings" control in the footer. Full detail: /legal/cookies/.
